WEST FARGO — Ben Berogan will be back as the head wrestling coach for West Fargo High School this winter, the school's activities department announced in a press release.

Berogan took a leave of absence in the 2020-21 wrestling season due to "some family changes and concerns," the release said. Taylor Nein and Dale Spilman stepped in as interim co-head coaches last season.

"Coach Berogan brings so much experience into our program and wrestling room as a former head coach at the University of Mary and seven years previous at West Fargo High School," West Fargo activities director Jay DeCann said in the release. "Ben has a very calming demeanor and the knowledge he brings into our room everyday is a great opportunity for our student-athletes."
