Youth baseball: Fargo 13U drops extra-inning game to Hawaii team

Fargo fell in eight innings to Kado, Hawaii on Sunday and continues pool play on Monday at the 13U Babe Ruth World Series.

GLEN ALLEN, Va. — The Fargo fell 3-1 to Kado, Hawaii, as pool play in the 13U Babe Ruth World Series continued on Sunday.

Fargo pitcher Ben Sheets allowed one earned run in seven innings. Caden Nelson was 2-for-4.

Fargo plays Munster, Ind., in the fourth day of pool play at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15. Pool play concludes on Tuesday and bracket rounds begin on Wednesday.
