Youth baseball: Fargo battles back to down Meridian in 13U World Series

GLEN ALLEN, Va. — Fargo erased a four-run deficit to defeat Meridian (Miss.) 8-7 on Tuesday in the Babe Ruth 13U World Series.

Gavin Bjur and Caden Nelson each went 2-for-3 for Fargo. Beckett Gigstad came on in relief in the second inning and gave up zero runs the rest of the game for Fargo.

Fargo advanced to Wednesday night's quarterfinals.
