Youth baseball: Fargo downs Manassas in 13U World Series quarterfinals

Caden Nelson, Elijah Enger and Brander Hilmert each had multiple hits to lead Fargo

GLEN ALLEN, Va. — Fargo downed Manassas (Va.) 3-2 on Wednesday in the Babe Ruth baseball 13U World Series.

Caden Nelson, Elijah Enger and Brander Hilmert each had multiple hits to lead Fargo. Payton Spitzer and Ben Sheets combined to toss a five-hitter.

Fargo advanced to the semifinals where it will face Pittsfield (Mass.) at 6 p.m. Thursday.
