Cynthia Stulz and Lawrence Karels, Moorhead, announce their engagement.
Parents are Ronald Stulz, Glyndon, Minn.; Linda Stulz, Moorhead; and Matthew and Charlene Karels, Ortonville, Minn.
Cynthia studied textiles at Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Minnesota State University Moorhead and North Dakota University. She has worked for Walmart for 20 years in the fabrics and crafts department.
Lawrence graduated from MSCTC and MSUM with degrees in accounting and marketing. He is a retired 24-year Army National Guard Reserve veteran and served for two years in Iraq. He has worked for Walmart for 15 years and owns Cashtown Coin and Currency.
A May 14 wedding is planned at First Assembly of God Church, Fargo, followed by a reception at the church.
