Sylvia Borchert, Fargo, will celebrate her 84th birthday with her family.
She was born May 7, 1929, in Bowman, N.D., to S.J. and Hattie Gausemel. She married James Borchert, and they lived in Jamestown, N.D., and Fargo.
She has four children, Wanda Borchert and Mark Borchert, both of Fargo, Jeff Borchert, Lake Park, Minn.; and the late Richard Borchert; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
