Cari Lynn VanOverbeke, Fargo, formerly Morris, Minn., and James Ray Jehlik, Fargo, announce their engagement.
Parents are Mark and Betty VanOverbeke, Morris; and Ann Jehlik, Bellflower, Calif. James' grandfather, who raised him, is Ed Jehlik, Fargo.
Cari graduated in 2004 from Morris Area High School and is attending Minnesota State University Moorhead.
James graduated in 2001 from Langdon (N.D.) High School. He graduated in 2004 from the University of Mary, Fargo, with an associate degree in computer networking and in 2006 received a bachelor's degree in business management from Aakers Business College, Fargo. He is employed by Concordia College.
A May 1 wedding, reception and dance are planned at Prairie Heights Community Church, Fargo.
