MOBILE, Ala. — Former North Dakota State running back Bruce Anderson hit the practice field at Ladd-Peebles Stadium for the first time Tuesday as the evaluations began for Anderson and the other NFL Draft hopefuls at the Senior Bowl.
Anderson was the first running back participating in team drills at the running back position. He also was flanked out at the wide receiver position and was impressing there.

Anderson is the sixth former Bison player since 2008 to make the Senior Bowl, joining Mike Dragosavich, Billy Turner, Carson Wentz, Joe Haeg and Nick DeLuca.

Anderson is on the South roster and he'll return to practice on Wednesday afternoon. The Senior Bowl is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday and televised by the NFL Network.
