WEST FARGO — The West Fargo School District is moving forward with its new plan for one activities director overseeing West Fargo, Sheyenne, and Horace High Schools.

It starts by hiring Logan Midthun as the district's first activities director. This new title was created just this month by the West Fargo School District.

Midthun spent this past year as Horace's first activity director and was set to oversee the Hawks' first year playing varsity sports this fall, but says this was a chance he just couldn't pass up.

NDSU football is no stranger when it comes to Creighton Prep in Omaha. The high school has produced the likes of Easton Stick and RJ Urzendowski.

Another blue jay will soon be a Bison as running back CharMar Brown announced his commitment to NDSU this afternoon. Brown had offers from South Dakota State, Ball State, Miami of Ohio, and Northern Iowa.

At 5'11", 200 pounds, he rushed for 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior. He is NDSU's first offensive skill position commit in 2023.
