Valley City State cruised to a 24-7 victory over the University of Jamestown in the annual "Paint Bucket" rivalry football game Thursday at Shelly Ellig Field at Lokken Stadium.

The Vikings now lead the series 64-53-5.

VCSU quarterback Jalen Pfeifer completed 20 of 32 passes for 266 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.
