WDAY - Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible mainly across northern Minnesota this afternoon.

A cold front will move through Minnesota this afternoon, and in doing so it may produce scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms could become strong to severe with hail and strong winds.

Cloud cover remains the uncertainty, and should clouds remain, it may limit thunderstorm development.

The timing of these scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be between the mid-afternoon hours and the early evening hours.
