UPDATE: Fargo Public Schools closes early

FARGO — Fargo Public Schools will dismiss classes early on Friday, Jan. 17, due to severe weather.

Clara Barton Elementary and Roosevelt Elementary will dismiss at 10:50 a.m. All other elementary schools, including morning the Early Childhood Special Education program, will dismiss at 11 a.m., including the Early Childhood Special Education program.

All middle schools and high schools will dismiss at 11:45 a.m.

All after-school activities are canceled for Friday, January 17.

Elementary schools will follow the directions for student pickup per parent direction on the school closure information form completed at registration. Essential personnel will remain at the buildings until all students have been picked up.

In addition, all buildings will be closed, and all activities are canceled on Saturday, January 18, 2020.

Also, the Davies High School Swim-A-Thon scheduled for tomorrow Saturday, January 18 has been canceled due to weather. Information will be sent at a later date regarding rescheduling this event.

West Fargo Public Schools and Moorhead Public Schools have canceled all classes and activities for Friday, Jan. 17, due to severe weather.

All students and staff are not to attend classes.
