FARGO — The winter storm that moved into the area Wednesday afternoon is forcing flight cancellations at Hector International Airport .
As of 8:48 a.m. Thursday, three flights have been grounded. Two were headed to Chicago and the third was headed to Denver.
Fargo-Moorhead received about 5 inches of snow as of Thursday morning, with another 5 inches possible by Friday morning. Winds of 20-30 mph are expected by noon, with gusts up to 50 mph possible .
