Kristen Weisser and Gavin Pollert, Watertown, S.D., announce their engagement.
Parents are Frank and Jolene Weisser, Ashley, N.D.; and Chet and Jo Pollert, Carrington, N.D.
Kristen graduated in 2006 from Ashley High School and attended Minnesota State University Moorhead. She is an optician at Shopko Eye Care Center, Watertown.
Gavin graduated in 2006 from Carrington High School and in 2009 graduated from F-M Ambulance Paramedic School, Fargo, with an associate degree in paramedicine. He is a firefighter/paramedic with Watertown Fire Rescue.
A June 11 wedding is planned at Zion Lutheran Church, followed by a reception at the American Legion, both in Ashley.
