WEST FARGO — West Fargo Sheyenne Assistant Principal Nathan Schleicher was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of DUI and refusal to take a blood alcohol level test, according to school officials.
He was arrested by Fargo police on Saturday, Feb. 27.
West Fargo Public Schools officials said after conducting an internal investigation, including an interview with Schleicher, it was decided that he could return to work this week.
The school said any decision regarding potential action will be made once an outcome is determined in his case.
The school's message was shared with staff and families of Sheyenne High School Monday afternoon. The district said there would be no further comment because it was a personnel matter.
