Summer Boost summer learning program began June 1

The West Fargo Public Library’s summer reading program – Summer Boost – is back. The redesigned program combines the library’s popular summer reading program with new objectives and opportunities for all ages. As part of the program, participants can join the Summer Boost online challenge to track their event attendance and reading hours to earn prizes. The Summer Boost online challenge registration is open now and the challenges run June 1 through July 31. All ages can register for the challenge on Beanstack at https://westfargolibrary.beanstack.org.

Little Red Reading Bus Wednesday stops June 9

9 p.m. Wednesday, June 2 at Arbor Woods Park 1554 Baywood Dr, West Fargo

10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 2 at Meadowridge Park between 17th and 19th St E on 7th Ave E., West Fargo

Read, create and play with the Little Red Reading Bus during the summer route. Visitors can hang out, read together, participate in activities and check out materials with a West Fargo Public Library library card at any of the bus stops. For more information visit thelittleredreadingbus.com.

Mahjong Games at the Library

1:30 – 3:30 Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the West Fargo Public Library

Experienced Mahjong players are invited to the library twice a week, every week (excluding holidays) for mahjong games in one of the library meeting rooms.

Twisted Stitchers

6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays in June at the West Fargo Public Library

This is a group of experienced knitters and crocheters that meet to socialize as they work on their various independent projects and share techniques.

Summer Boost Animal STEM Camp series

2:30 to 3:30 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday June 15 – 17

Kids ages 6 - 12 are invited to participate in Animal STEM Camp, a series of three 1-hour sessions where kids will explore science, technology, engineering and math concepts while doing fun projects, learning about animals and having a roaring good time.
