Library Summer Boost program wraps up July 31; Bus route ends Aug. 11

The West Fargo Public Library’s summer reading program, Summer Boost, ends July 31. Participants of all ages must sign up and enter their reading hours on or before July 31 to be eligible for their rewards. Reading hours can be retroactively added. Prizes can be picked up until Thursday, Aug. 12 at the West Fargo Public Library service desk or on the Little Red Reading Bus route. Mahjong Games: 1:30 – 3:30 Wednesdays at the library

• Experienced Mahjong players are invited to the library once a week, every week (excluding holidays) for mahjong games in one of the library meeting rooms.

Pajama Storytime and Stuffed Animal Sleepover: 7 – 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at the library.

• Kids are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to the library for this special evening story time and visit from the MSUM Planetarium. After the story time, stuffed animals are invited to sleep over at the library. Library staff will share the animals’ sleepover fun on social media and attendees will receive a commemorative picture when they pick up their furry friends the next day. • This is a group of experienced knitters and crocheters that meet to socialize as they work on their various independent projects and share techniques.

• Join fellow beginner gardeners for a presentation all about butterflies and other pollinators, why they are important and how to cultivate a pollinator-friendly garden. This event is free, but registration is required. Sign up at
